SAT Prep

This course is designed to improve the Student's math skills in preparation for the SAT exam.  In this course the Student will be working on SAT practice problems every day.  The content spans Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry.  The Student will work on using test taking strategies as well as math strategies.  


College Algebra 2        


Algebra II is the continuation of Algebra I. Without a mastery of Algebra I it is impossible to succeed in Algebra II.  Among the major topics are solving equations, radical expressions and operations, imaginary and complex numbers, quadratic functions as well as much more.  HSPA practice work is also included in the course (which will also help prepare the student for college entry tests).               

College Pre-Calculus

College Pre-Calculus is designed to prepare the Student for College Calculus.  A mastery of Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 is need to successfully complete this course.  Topics include linear and non-linear functions, Logarithms, Conic Sections, Trigonometry, Probability and Statistics, and more.  Graphing calculators will be used frequently.
